Dealing with food Allergies and anaphylaxis is a must to avoid health hazards. It is a true fact that not all food allergies causes anaphylaxis, however, those foods that cause anaphylaxis are often very severe and can be life threatening. Food allergies and anaphylaxis are most commonly associated with peanuts. Peanut allergies are not the most common type of food with allergy causing content, but they are among the most severe. Even a small trace of peanut can cause a severe reaction. Other foods that are among the most common offenders when it comes to allergies are soy, milk, eggs, wheat, tree nuts, fish and shellfish. Of course other foods may also cause problems for some individuals.
